Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you wanted to know about couriers, deliveries, and what you can send in Israel via Go Delivery.
What can I send through Go Delivery?
Almost anything — documents, envelopes, packages, gifts, clothing, keys, medication, electronics, and more. Two delivery types: 'Letter' for small items up to 1 kg, and 'Package' for the rest up to 30 kg. Prohibited: weapons, drugs, hazardous materials, live animals, and cash.
How long does delivery take?
For instant delivery inside a city, 30–60 min in most cases. Intercity takes 1.5–4 hours depending on distance. Scheduled deliveries arrive in the specific window you chose.
How much does delivery cost?
Price depends on two factors: distance and weight. Minimum starts around ₪25 for short distances. A typical in-city delivery (5–7 km) runs ₪30–50. Intercity can reach ₪150–250 by distance. You always see the full price before confirming — no surprises.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes — up to 30 kg per package, up to 1 kg for 'Letter'. Heavier? Contact us in the app for a custom solution.
Can I schedule a delivery in advance?
Yes — the app's first screen has two options: 'Deliver now' (instant) or 'Schedule' (pick date and time). Schedule for later today or coming days.
How do I pay?
In the app only — credit card or Apple Pay. No cash to the courier. Payments are encrypted and processed by a certified payment provider.
How do I track my delivery?
Once the courier accepts the order, you see them on a live map in the app. The recipient also gets a tracking link in real time. We send notifications when the courier is en route and when the package is delivered.
What if the recipient isn't home?
The courier calls the recipient when nearby. No answer? They try 2–3 times and return. A return fee may apply. You can add instructions like 'leave in lobby' or 'give to neighbor'.
Is the delivery insured?
Every delivery has basic insurance against damage or loss in transit. For high-value items, declare in advance via the app. Fragile items — note in comments and pack well.
Can I cancel an order?
Yes — before a courier accepts the order, cancellation is free and instant. Once the courier has started driving, a partial charge may apply. Details in the 'Refund Policy' page.
Which areas in Israel are covered?
Major Gush Dan cities — Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Herzliya, Bat Yam, Holon, Rishon LeZion, Petah Tikva, Netanya, Kfar Saba, Raanana — are covered continuously. Jerusalem, Haifa, Beer Sheva and Ashdod are covered most hours. Check courier availability in the app by address.
Do you work on Shabbat and holidays?
Service is limited on Shabbat in most places. Mixed cities and Motzaei Shabbat have partial availability. Holidays — depends on the holiday and couriers; check live availability in the app.
Can I send food?
Yes — food is allowed. Couriers aren't specialists in hot-food transport for long trips, so for items that need cooling or heat retention, book short-distance and use proper packaging.
What makes Go Delivery different from traditional shipping companies?
Traditional shipping companies pick up, send to a warehouse, sort, and deliver the next day. Go Delivery is a direct courier — one person picks up and delivers same day. Faster, with live tracking, no paperwork.
Is there a support center?
Yes — the app has a support chat, plus email and phone. Typical response: chat within minutes, email within 24 hours.
